I contacted Raquel when our family was stationed at a U.S. Embassy in West Africa, expecting her to get a good laugh at someone who needed help from this region of the world where scams are known to originate (money to a Nigerian Prince anyone?!). We explained the situation and that we would be buying sight unseen, so our trust and confidence was 100% in her hands. She offered to tour homes and send videos to us, which was the perfect solution. If I had any questions about how the property might be altered to suit our needs, she worked independently with her trusted contacts (contractors and landscapers) to consider these issues. Then COVID hit. We were already expecting to buy sight-unseen, but the professionalism and respect that she showed for the homeowners when touring the houses was outstanding as she continued our hunt. Not only did Raquel hit the nail right on the head, but she in fact had a better sense of the house I was looking for than I did! I was wishy-washy on a few things (like a community pool – I wasn’t sure if it was a deal breaker for me to not have one or not), but her intuition picked up on it right away. She suggested a neighborhood which ended up being the perfect neighborhood for us! I originally lived in California and moved my family here during the busy summer months. Raquel went above and beyond to help me find the perfect home even though I couldn’t be in North Carolina to see it first hand. She drove to multiple homes across Onslow and Pender counties, took videos of each home interior, and sent those along with floor plans to give me the best possible idea of the layout and appearance of every one. We were purchasing our house before doing a cross country move, so we had a couple days to spend in the area and Raquel spend the entire day driving us all over to look at the houses we might be interested in. She was very knowledgeable about the area and even took us back to the house we ultimately decided on multiple times. Raquel has made communicating from several states away very easy and is always prompt to answer. Raquel even went as far as to do a video walkthrough for us the day before closing since we aren’t there just yet! We had a wonderful experience and Raquel made the buying process painless.

Raquel is like the warm hug that gets you through the stress of selling a home.
