Over the years we have used 7 agents in buying and selling. Suzanne is head and shoulders above any agent we have used. She is personable, knowledgeable and professional. I would highly recommend Susanne as a Realtor. She is very helpful, patient, and very knowledgable about the area. She showed my husband and I many homes in the area we desired to live. When we found the home that we now purchased, she was there all the way to navigate us through it all. Over the years we have used 7 agents in buying and selling. Suzanne is head and shoulders above any agent we have used. She is personable, knowledgeable and professional. We had moved previously to selling so Susanne was responsible for the entire process. Every recommendation from price, preparing the house, suggested repairs, etc. was right on the mark. She kept us constantly updated on all issues (inspection, repairs, finding contractors to do the work, etc.) and returned all calls in a timely manner if not available when we called. We could not have had a less stressful experience, especially being states away during the process. We strongly recommend Susanne as your realtor when buying or selling.

We have been extremely impressed with Susanne’s professionalism. During our home Initial buyer progress, she was prompt in replying to any of our questions or concerns. As part of my 5-year plan toward retirement - and after reading several issues of "Where to Retire," and visiting and eliminating several cities and states - I found an informative article on New Bern, NC. I began searching on Zillow.com and Realtor.com and found a place that checked off all the boxes - so I called the listing agent - only to find out that there was already an offer in play - how disappointing - I was offered the option to put in a backup offer and was a little reluctant, however, I was so glad I did. Much to my surprise, 3 weeks later the initial offer fell apart. Now it was full steam ahead and this is where Susanne took over. She kept me informed every step of the way. As I will be making a major relocation from Texas, Susanne sent me extensive information on the area - reaffirming my decision that this was the place to retire. I then made a trip to see the townhouse and seal the offer. Susanne's strengths are her responsiveness and attention to detail - I felt secure in knowing that she had all my ducks in a row. Her assistance and recommendations on mortgage brokers, local insurance agents, handymen and property managers - took all the worry out of buying and possibly renting the townhouse until I could move in. I'm sure that this was one of her smaller transactions, however, I never once felt that I wasn't getting the same superior treatment she would give someone buying a much more expensive home. Here is where some agents would give you a thank you handshake and ask for referrals - Susanne on the other hand keeps working on my behalf to ensure that all my repairs and improvements are completed and coordinates the work orders in my absence - now that's true A+ Service showing real professional commitment. Susanne deserves more recognition than I can offer in this review - but know that if you are looking for your next home - call on Susanne - then you too will be singing her praises!

If you are buying or selling, Susanne is the perfect real estate agent to work with. She is a true professional and trustworthy person. She will help you through the entire process and will dedicate her services to you. If she cannot answer a question, she will get it answered for you. She also has great knowledge of the New Bern area. We just brought a home in New Bern NC, we are moving from New Jersey. We gave Susanne what we were looking for in a home and she was able to send us houses to look at before we went down to New Bern to see houses. We were able to select a group of homes to review. We found our new home on the second day. Once we decided to buy, Susanne did not stop there, she helped us get a good lawyer, home inspector, handy man contractor and landscaper. Since we could not be there doing the home inspection, she helped us out by going to be with the inspector. As we were in New Jersey, e-mail between us was very important, Susanne responded quickly and timely and if we needed to speak, she always has her cell phone. We had requested that the sellers fix a few things in the house before closing and she was there as well. So if you want an real estate agent that goes the extra mile, you want to use Susanne Pendleton.

Being from out of town (Chicago), we were unfamiliar with all the different neighborhoods in New Bern. So before we met with Susanne, she gave us some places to visit to get a better feel for the atmosphere and layout of the town. She also sent us listings for homes in the various neighborhoods that met our criteria. And when we came into her office to tour the homes we picked out, she gave us a tour of the town as we drove from home to home. She never commented or pushed us to consider or reject any of the homes we looked at. When we found out that the one home we wanted specifically to see (came 1,000 miles for) was off the market, she quickly found some others that were similar yet matched what we were looking for. And we are glad she did because that is how we found our perfect home! Then we headed back to Chicago and had to ask her many times to be our eyes and ears (and mouth) during the process of preparing for the closing, helped to find painters, cleaners, lawyer, inspectors, and made herself readily available to give them access whenever needed. Without her going above and beyond for us, this dream would never have happened. And I hope we have made a long time friend in the process!

After making the decision that Fairfield Harbor in Newbern was going to be my new home I was very fortunate to find Susanne to help me with this transition. Susanne was very professional and attentive though the entire process and beyond. What could have been a very stressful time in my life because of her was painless. We discussed my wish list and she sent me listings in the area that met my criteria. After several showings and narrowing down my decision she walked me through the negotiating process. Offering advice that I found to be very helpful. At no time did I feel like I was alone. She was in constant contact with all the parties involved. After my offer was accepted she really stepped up to the plate. She stayed on top of every step through the closing process. Constantly checking to ensure that all of my questions were being answered. Susanne did a wonderful job of marketing and selling our home! She was persistent and tenacious in following up with agents and perspective buyers after each showing and sharing the feedback with us. Although it took over 6 months to sell our home, Susanne maintained a positive â??can doâ?� attitude and never gave up!
