Sea Coast and RACE Join Forces for Homes for Dogs Adoption Event
SOUTHPORT, NC (AUGUST 11, 2017) – On September 9-10, 2017 Coldwell Banker Sea Coast Advantage and RACE (Rescue Animals Community Effort) are joining hundreds of Coldwell Banker offices and animal shelters around the country for the Coldwell Banker “Homes for Dogs” National Adoption Weekend. 

The Southport event will feature adoptable dogs, a bake sale, a dog kissing booth, Pizza donated by Papa Johns, and gift bags & discounts offered by Gonzo's Animal House. Dirty Dogs Door to Door will be offering discounted grooming services for adopted dogs, as well as discounted nail trims to any dogs in attendance. It will take place at:

The nationwide adoption weekend is part of the “Homes for Dogs Project,” a three-year campaign launched by Coldwell Banker Real Estate LLC and, North America's largest non-profit pet adoption website. 

In conjunction with this project, Coldwell Banker Sea Coast Advantage Leland Office is walking dogs for Canines for ServiceColdwell Banker Sea Coast Advantage Carolina Beach Office is holding an adoption event with Paws Place animal rescue, and Coldwell Banker Sea Coast Advantage Autumn Hall & Midtown Offices are hosting a donation drive

In the first year alone, the organizations helped to facilitate more than 20,000 adoptions. Coldwell Banker® launched “Somebody to Love,” in April 2017, a national advertising campaign which told the stories of a man and a homeless dog who find each other. It was lauded one of the highest ranking ads of all time by Ace Metrix, and was praised by the New York Times as being a “commercial to love.”
