I am part of the wonderful family of Coldwell Banker agents.

I worked in Real Estate in N.J. many years ago doing General Real Estate as well as Commercial Building Management. Left Real Estate for a career in Travel and my last position was Director of Corporate and Incentive for Liberty Corporate Travel, part of LibGo which at the time was the 6th largest travel company in the US. I saw all the parts of the world that I had always dreamed about and met fantastic people along the way.

Moved to North Carolina in March 1999 and I LOVE it here. Made a pact with God to do HIS good work in order that my grandson (two very serious health conditions) live a normal life. In October 1999, my Volunteer work “found me”. I have been a volunteer Guardian Ad Litem (Officer of the Court) advocating for more than 162 children in the past 16 years. I am very proud to have been awarded the 2009 Good Neighbor Award by the National Association of Realtors.  Please watch the video. I was very glad to have my Real Estate background to go back to when it became necessary to work again. I work hard, volunteer hard and enjoy life to the fullest. My friends call me “the Energizer Bunny”…just wait til you meet me and you’ll see why.

I am writing this letter as a professional recommendation for Mrs. Helen Marotto. I have known her since 2004 and over these many years I have grown to respect and admire the talent and knowledge that she brings to the table. So, when I decided to sell my original Family home, that was more than 100 years old, there was only one person I would trust. Our process of selling that home was not easy as it took a great deal of marketing to find the right person and a great deal of repairs had to be made prior to closing.Helen was by my side every step of the way. She took the time to meet with me in the evenings and on the weekends due to my busy schedule. She made sure that I understood everything that I was responsible for and understood every document that I was to sign. I had never bought or sold a home before, especially not a 100+ year old home. House went on the market late September 2015 and closing was late February, 2016. In my humble opinion this was a very quick sale considering newer construction in our area can stay on the market a great deal longer.If you are considering the purchase of or the idea of buying or selling a home then you should contact Mrs. Marotto to assist you. She will not stop working until you achieve your goal. I had the opportunity to have dinner with another long term client of hers who too, had a difficult time purchasing a new home because the builder was not watching his crew. Helen Marotto found our first home for my husband Jim and me in Olde Point Country Club about four years ago. Jim and I became fast friends with Helen and her husband, Phil. We sold our Florida house and asked Helen to help us find a larger house on the water in Hampstead, Pender County. After looking at several, she thought we might like, we settled into our "forever home" on Virginia Creek. Helen then sold the Olde Point house for us in less than four months and at a profit! Helen is very professional but at the same time, personable. As stated, Helen has sold us two houses and then sold one of them for us in the last four years. Jim and I highly recommend you contact Helen if you are interested in buying, selling or renting as she will do an exceptional job for you.
