I have been in real estate for nearly 20 years. I started my career in Columbia, MD at Prudential, Re/Max Columbia and then Re/Max Advantage. After a couple of years at Re/Max Advantage, my mother and I opened a small real estate company called Astor Properties which was located in Baltimore.
I married my husband, Don Moran in 2002 and we have 1 son named Jack. In 2010, we moved to Carolina Beach, NC where we enjoy the beach life. Since moving here and living on the water I have been able to enjoy such activities as boating, kayaking and dolphin watching. In 2012, my husband decided to join me in the real estate business and we have formed The Moran Real Estate Team.
Moving to a new city has been very rewarding because I have gotten to meet a lot of new friends and learn about a new city and it's historical aspects. We have enjoyed it so much here that we convinced my in-laws to move here in our neighborhood.
In 2012, my husband, Don decided to leave his job in marketing and join me in real estate. We are The Moran Real Estate Team. We love working together helping people buy and sell homes.
We appreciated Deanna Moran's diligence in trying circumstances during the weeks before closing in situations with the title attorney. She also contacted the selling agent when our closing was extended as a glitch occurred on their side. She asked that the seller pay the extra money charged for the extension. This was agreed upon. We definitely recommend Deanna when purchasing a new property as it is clear she takes care of her clients.
We worked with Deanna Moran the last two months. We were interested in purchasing either a Condo or Townhouse in Topsail Island. From the beginning Deanna was very diligent in getting back to us and provided us with listings she knew we would like in our price range. We never felt rushed. A delight to work with and went above and beyond what a normal agent does. I highly recommend her. She even met us on a rainy Saturday morning to open up a townhouse and did a walk through via Face time when we weren't able to come down from Raleigh.
Deanna was very good to work with and was very good about communicating needs and working with us in long distance communications. She also took the time to work with us in many visits to homes and was very helpful in answering questions via phone, text, or email. I would definitely work with Deanna again.
