I was born and raised in New York City and now call Jacksonville, NC home.  Growing up the daughter of a United States Marine, gave me the amazing opportunity to live and travel from the west to the east coasts of the United States at a very young age. During my teen age years, I moved to Jacksonville, NC in 1986 when my father received military orders to Camp Lejeune.  I attended Southwest High School and have since called Jacksonville home. I love the hometown feel Jacksonville offers and the short drive to the beach, which makes for a great day trip or weekend getaway.

 

I bring 20 years of experience in sales management, negotiating deals, marketing, event coordinating, purchasing and customer service. I’ve been very fortunate to have been able to work in the retail industry with large retailers in cosmetics as an Account Coordinator in Eastern NC, Raleigh and South Florida.  As a design specialist/coordinator assisting new home buyers for a flooring company specializing in floor covering installation for new construction home builders in the Raleigh/Durham Area.  An Account Executive for a logistics company in Charlotte. I  have also owned my own handcrafted custom jewelry business in Charlotte at the Southpark Mall. The knowledge, work and life experiences I’ve gained throughout the years, contributes to what I have a serious passion for every single day in real estate, which is assisting, negotiating sales and building relationships with my clients whether it is finding them the home of their dreams or getting their home sold. 

 

I am the proud wife of a United States Marine.  My husband’s military career has brought our family back to Jacksonville, NC after being stationed in Japan for the past three years. Upon returning back to the U.S., I found myself soul searching as to what my next career move might be.  As a military spouse, i know first-hand what it’s like to uproot every three years. I’m extremely familiar with the joys and challenges that many families experience when moving to a new place for the first or second time.  I can relate well to the transition of settling into a new environment, preparing kids for their first day at a new school, along with finding new friends.  As these are just a few of the motions a family may experience, and know all too well.  With many moves under my belt, I am well versed on the importance of negotiating the sale in buying and selling a home in a timely manner.  Therefore, it did not take me long to realize that my passion to assist and serve others would be in real estate.  

 

My personal life experiences as a military spouse, along with my career experiences gives me the edge when it comes to negotiating the best deals for my clients in buying or selling a home.  After all there is no place like home. 

 

Whenever I take a day off from real estate, I enjoy spending quality time with my family and fur babies.  Some of my favorite things to do is, family game nights, CrossFit with my husband, traveling, reading books related to Real Estate, DIY projects, watching HGTV and attempting a new healthy recipe in the kitchen.

 

When you meet me it’s quite clear my enthusiasm comes naturally.  I believe, helping families find their new home or sell their home is what I’ve has spent most of my life preparing for.  One of my favorite quotes by Steve Jobs that sums it all up for me is, "The only way to do great work is to love what you do".
