Joe Hough

I was born in Germany and have lived all around the world as my father was in the Army.  I joined the Marines while still in High School and retired after 27 years.  I have been a Grunt, a Linguist and an Intelligence Chief and saw just about everything in my time in the service.  My having learned to speak Russian and Polish, along with a smattering of other languages, gives me an appreciation of different cultures and the need for strong, clear, and consistent communication skills.  My wife and I have been together for four decades and still put up with me.  Jacksonville has been home for us since I bought my first home in the early 90’s.  My children grew up here and graduated from the local High School.  I have been in Real Estate since 2013 and look to make this my final career.  As a retired Marine I know the trials and stress that finding a new home in a new town can be.  I also understand how that stress is intensified as a service member.  I take a great deal of pride in my work and want to make sure that buying that new home, or selling that old one, is a pleasant experience.  I specialize in short sales and foreclosures, but I also have a large amount of experience with first time home buyers as well as those savvy folks who understand the process.  My life experience makes me a bit bulldoggish when working with people as I want you to be in the home you want for the price you want to pay.  Whether you are a buyer, seller, renter, or investor my service level and your needs are always my top priority.  Reach out to me and let me go to work for you, utilizing my communication skills, experience, and desire to achieve only the best for you and your family.
