We were searching for a specific type lot in the Oak Island and Southport NC area. We met briefly with Shelly to give her our interests and off she went! When we reconvened a few days later [our schedule delay, not hers] she not only had a laundry list of properties for us to review but also had a logical routing map for us to follow. Her suggestions were spot on and we identified a property in a neighborhood that she suggested and upon looking at it [liking the lot and loving the neighborhood] we noticed an adjacent lot which was formerly on the market but had been de-listed. No problem for Shelly, we asked her to inquire and within 20-minutes she had contacted the seller. We closed on that lot a few week later. She is fantastic. If we could give a 6 out of 5 stars we would!

We were very fortunate to have found Shelly Morrow for our realtor in our search for a home on Oak Island, NC. We knew that searching for a property from another state & 7 hours away would not be easy. But having timely information and a realtor who was able to keep us abreast of the availability of houses was a blessing. When we found Shelly, it was all good from the start. She is extremely personable and knowledgeable about the housing market in the Oak Island and Southport area, and all the amenities and services in this area as well. Even as we took our time looking for that perfect home or property, Shelly was very patient and promptly responsive to our many inquiries. She set up a web search that gave us status alerts on houses & lots as they became available, and was then able to check out & give us reports for those we were interested in, as well as to help us with research before we made a trip down from Virginia. About 4 years ago, I decided that I wanted to go see a condo in my community and contacted the agency that I thought was the listing agent - it wasn't. The CD Banker agency that I contacted was in Wilmington and they tossed my request over the fence to Oak Island. Into my life came Shelly. A chance engagement that has lasted 4+ years, including 2 sales and 2 purchases. Shelly is a superb Real Estate professional. She is knowledgeable, reliable, direct, and most importantly, patient!! Buying and selling property is a huge decision and it's critically important to have a professional like Shelly at your side. I have to admit that our meeting and connection with Shelly was 'Kismet' - an unusual destiny. I won't go into how we ended up with her as our agent, but she was perfect. Shelly was kind and respected our pace in looking for a home. We thought it would be a slow pace and she didn't pressure us. When we found the home we wanted, she knew it. I won't go into the details but she stuck with it and made what we thought was gone our reality. Shelly is a 'peach' and made a home buying experience a fun time. We have worked with several RE agents in our lifetime and Shelly is absolutely the best. She is honest, kind and most of all, fun to work with. While we haven't yet put our current home on the market, when we do, she will be our first choice - as long as she'll have us! :)

Shelly Morrow made our experience of purchasing a home in Oak Island a memorable and wonderful one.We were not from North Carolina and unfamiliar with the process of buying a house there. Shelly was accommodating in many ways. She answered questions immediately, contacted us when she found more property for us to view, and did so in an amazing, timely manner. I never dreamed that in just a few weeks we would be purchasing the house that was so perfect for us. After we made a decision on a house, Shelly was so helpful and knowledgeable in the purchasing process. She made it a smooth and great experience. Always checking in with us when certain items were due, or needed submitted. Informing us what to expect next and explaining Items, terms, and processes we didn’t understand. We were very fortunate to have found Shelly Morrow for our realtor in our search for a home on Oak Island, NC. We knew that searching for a property from another state & 7 hours away would not be easy. But having timely information and a realtor who was able to keep us abreast of the availability of houses was a blessing. When we found Shelly, it was all good from the start. She is extremely personable and knowledgeable about the housing market in the Oak Island and Southport area, and all the amenities and services in this area as well. Even as we took our time looking for that perfect home or property, Shelly was very patient and promptly responsive to our many inquiries. She set up a web search that gave us status alerts on houses & lots as they became available, and was then able to check out & give us reports for those we were interested in, as well as to help us with research before we made a trip down from Virginia. Shelly has a wealth of resources, contacts, and recommendations for everything such as builders, designers, lawyers, & lenders - anything we needed. After searching numerous houses & lots with Shelly’s help, we ultimately purchased a lot and are planning to build soon. We are very thankful for all the help that Shelly provided and would recommend her as your realtor in a heartbeat! I have to admit that our meeting and connection with Shelly was "Kismet" - an unusual destiny. I won't go into how we ended up with her as our agent, but she was perfect. Shelly was kind and respected our pace in looking for a home. We thought it would be a slow pace and she didn't pressure us. When we found the home we wanted, she knew it. I won't go into the details but she stuck with it and made what we thought was gone our reality. Shelly is a "peach" and made a home buying experience a fun time. We have worked with several RE agents in our lifetime and Shelly is absolutely the best. She is honest, kind and most of all, fun to work with. While we haven't yet put our current home on the market, when we do, she will be our first choice - as long as she'll have us! :)
