I have been in sales most of my life but then I realized my true calling was more one-on--one with people . Nothing gives me greater satisfaction then when I help you find the home of their dreams. Snowbirds, replacing a snowplow with a golf cart in November is a great feeling! I never thought that living in paradise could be so affordable! Property taxes, utilities, everything seems to be cheaper down here.
I know what it is like to move to a new area . When people ask me where I am from ( must be my accent, ya betcha!) My husband, our youngest daughter, and I are transplants from Wisconsin ( GO PACKERS!!!!!) I remember shoveling snow up to my eyeballs and thinking to myself this is IT! Someday I am going to have a palm tree in front of my home and now I have 4. My dreams have come true!
I know how I wanted to be treated and now I am dedicated to make sure that YOU are. I am truly in love with Brunswick County area . It is my duty to show you EVERYTHING about this beautiful area and surrounding areas.

I have been a licensed Realtor and then Broker in North Carolina since 2001. I went further in education and got my Graduate Realtor Institute ( GRI) certification in 2004
We moved down here because my husband has had great opportunities in the textile business down south and with those opportunities came 4 relocations in North Carolina. We started in Hickory, NC and enjoyed the beauty of the mountains. Then an opportunity came nearer the Coastal area of Oriental, which brags to be the 'Sailing Capitol of N.C." From there we transplanted ourselves closer to historic New Bern, NC and decided to get my real estate license and this is where we were going to retire we would finish out our lives.
But, fate takes many turns.I won a Realtor's Contest a few years ago for my sales record for the month and the grand prize was a weekend at the Greystone Bed and Breakfast in downtown Wilmington. It was our first visit Wilmington and absolutely loved the restaurants , the waterfront and the vibrant atmosphere . This is when my daughter decided that some day she was going to live there. Her dream came true. She married a wonderful man from Vermont and did move down to live their dreams in Wilmington 10 years ago . Six years later they bought a home across the bridge from Wilmington in Brunswick County and started to have babies. Yes, grandbabies for me!
Every time we came to visit and I was drawn to the beaches, historic Wilmington. I love the area
But, when they moved to Brunswick County which is 5-10 minutes from downtown Wilmington, something SNAPPED!!! Mark and I fell totally in love with this area!! The next thing we knew, we were sitting in an attorney's parking lot looking at each other questioning ourselves, "Did we actually just buy a home here?! " HA! That was four years ago. We used our new home as our 2nd home but, as of 2015 this is now where we call home.
We just bought our dream home with palm trees in the front and backyard.
