Shawndy is originally from Santa Cruz California and lived there until 1998 when she decided it was time to find a new place to call home.  Growing up in a beautiful town on the California coast with a laid back lifestyle was going to be hard to replace.  She decided to move to Breckenridge Colorado.  After the birth of her daughter Kylee,  she decided that the mountains and snow were fun for a while but the beach was sorely missed.  Still seeking that relaxed coastal lifestyle she was accustomed to, they found Carolina Beach and decided to call it home in 2002.  It was a great decision and the easiest transition she ever made.
